    The inbound exit to Trinity Place is closed Monday to Friday 6am to 10am and 3pm to 7pm. There are three lanes inbound and one lane outbound 6am to 10am weekdays. As of November 27th on weekdays from 4pm to 7pm there are two lanes outbound to Brooklyn in the south tube plus one contra flow lane in the north tube to Brooklyn. During these times one lane in north tube will be open inbound to Manhattan. One of two tubes may be closed as needed with two way traffic maintained in the open tube 10pm 5:30am, Sunday nights to Friday mornings. These lane closures are to facilitate MTA work.

The South Upper Roadway is Queens bound except from 5:30 am to 11am weekdays when the roadway is reversed and accommodates the Manhattan bound high occupancy vehicle HOV lane Manhattan bound high occupancy vehicle HOV lane containing two or more people from 6am to 10am, Monday to Friday. Access is to East 58th Street East 57th Street in Manhattan from Thomson Avenue or 21st Street at 43rd Avenue in Queens.
